Bahrain participates in 20th GCC Supreme Military Committee meeting

Muscat, Nov. 12 (BNA): Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), led the kingdom’s delegation to the 20th meeting of the Supreme Military Committee of the Chiefs of Staff of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Armed Forces and the Gulf Academy for Strategic and Security Studies held in the Omani capital today.

The meetings reviewed topics aimed at strengthening coordination in the military field and enhancing the defence policies among GCC states.  

They also discussed supporting joint GCC military achievements and unified strategy for common GCC security, based on foundations laid by GCC leaders.
