Political Affairs Undersecretary hails Bahrain-UAE relations, partnership

Manama, Nov. 17 (BNA): Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Political Affairs Undersecretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has lauded the long-standing solid fraternal partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, hailing the progress of bilateral ties under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and President His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the UAE.
While meeting Khalifa Shaheen Almarar, the Minister of State at the UAE Foreign Affairs Ministry, on the sidelines of the 19th edition of the Manama Dialogue, the undersecretary reviewed ways to strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnerships between the two countries.
The two sides expressed their support for international efforts to establish security and stability, as well as just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East.
They also discussed ways to enhance international cooperation in protecting the environment and achieving sustainable development goals, in light of the UAE’s hosting of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).
