Interior Minister meets Former UK Cabinet Secretary and National Security Adviser

Manama, Nov. 18 (BNA): General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Interior Minister, received Lord Mark Sedwill, Former UK Cabinet Secretary and National Security Adviser, who is in Bahrain participate in the 19th edition of the Manama Dialogue. 

Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Bahraini Ambassador to the UK; Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hasan Al Hasan, Chief of Public Security; and Brigadier Mohammed bin Daina, Director-General of Media and Security Culture, attended the meeting. 

The minister said that hosting this strategic and international forum in Bahrain reflects the kingdom’s commitment to maintaining international peace and security, in line with the royal vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, on promoting peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and openness which contribute to the security and interest of all. 

The minister commended the historic Bahraini-UK relations.
