Foreign Minister meets British parliamentary delegation

Manama, Nov. 19 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with the British parliamentary delegation, headed by Lord Nicholas Soames, on the sidelines of the 19th session of Manama Dialogue.

The meeting discussed the long-standing Bahrain-UK relations and ways to develop them in various sectors, especially within the framework of the strategic dialogue that was recently launched to promote joint cooperation relations between the two countries.

They also exchanged views on developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip, provide protection for civilians, deliver humanitarian aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip, and advance efforts aimed at settling the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and establishing a just and lasting peace in the region.
