Bahrain, NATO cooperation discussed

Manama, Nov. 19 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, met with Admiral Rob Bauer, Chair of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) Military Committee, who is on a visit to the kingdom to participate in the 19th edition of the IISS-Manama Dialogue.

Boris Ruge, the Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs and Security Policy at NATO, attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the ongoing cooperation between Bahrain and the NATO and discussed topics of common interest, including the latest situation in the Gaza Strip and efforts to end the war, protect civilians, deliver aid, and maintain security and stability in the region.
