Bahrain, China judicial cooperation reviewed

Manama, Nov. 19 (BNA): Dr. Ali bin Fadl Al Buainain, Attorney General met with Zhang Xue Qiao, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China.

The visit of the Chinese officials aims to enhance judicial cooperation between the two countries, and learn about the institutional and judicial development of Bahrain Public Prosecution.

The two parties signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance judicial cooperation in combatting crime.

This includes exchanging information, establishing communication channels for judicial assistance, and exchange of expertise to enhance the judicial performance of the Public Prosecution in both countries, in line with national laws and international agreements.
