Industry Minister receives New Zealand Ambassador to Bahrain

Manama, Nov. 20 (BNA): Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, received Barney Riley, Ambassador of New Zealand to Bahrain residing in Riyadh.

The meeting reviewed topics of common interest, including the latest developments in the free trade agreement between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and New Zealand.

The minister commended the Bahrain-New Zealand relations, affirming the Kingdom's commitment to develop these relations, especially in the commercial sector.

Fakhro highlighted the investment environment in Bahrain and the advantages and facilities it offers to investors from all over the world, in addition to its economic openness aimed at localising investments and making the Kingdom a global investment hub.

Riley praised the efforts made to enhance cooperation in various sectors.
