Foreign Minister meets GCC Secretary-General

Manama, Nov. 20 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), on the sidelines of the Manama Dialogue.

The meeting discussed the General Secretariat’s efforts to promote joint Gulf cooperation in various fields, in implementation of the directives of the leaders of the GCC States, and reviewed topics of common concern.

The two sides signed an agreement between Bahrain and the GCC on the headquarters of the Technical Communications Office in the Kingdom, and a cooperation agreement between the Directorate of Foreign Trade and Industrial Property of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Bahrain and the GCC General Secretariat.
