Industry Minister receives EU Special Representative for Gulf Region

Manama, Nov. 21 (BNA): Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, received Luigi Di Maio, Special Representative of the European Union for the Gulf Region.

Abdulla bin Faisal bin Jabur Al Doseri, Ambassador to Belgium, Kingdom of Denmark, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, European Union and NATO, attended the meeting.

The minister praised the close Bahrain-EU relations and their commitment to strengthen ties and expand areas of cooperation to meet common goals and aspirations.

The meeting also reviewed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, especially with the presence of a special EU representative in the Gulf region, which affirms the deep strategic partnership.
