Transportation Minister participates in ICAO Conference

Dubai, Nov. 21 (BNA): Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, participated in the third ICAO Conference on Aviation and Alternative Fuels (CAAF/3).

The conference, held on November 20-24, is attended by participants from over 190 countries.

The minister affirmed Bahrain’s support for the ICAO Conference and its goals that aim at sustaining the aviation sector and protecting the environment.

He emphasised the conference's role in addressing environmental challenges and reducing carbon emissions by providing a platform for exchanging expertise and boosting cooperation between countries.

The conference aims to discuss ways to reduce carbon emissions in the civil aviation sector and work together to achieve zero emissions by 2050.
