US Regional Spokesman: Bahrain plays crucial role in maintaining stability

Manama, Nov. 21 (BNA): Samuel Warburg, Regional Spokesman for the US State Department, said that hosting the Manama Dialogue in Bahrain offered a unique opportunity to discuss issues related to regional security and stability.
Speaking to BNA, he praised Bahrain's efforts in organising the 19th edition of Manama Dialogue, noting that one of the highlights of the forum was the speech given by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in which he urged the world to focus on the region's stability, especially the current situation in the Gaza strip.
Warburg also commended the strong bilateral relations between Bahrain and the United States.
"With the recently signed agreements between Bahrain and the United States, the two sides are enhancing cooperation and moving relations to a higher level, especially with Bahrain's crucial role in stabilising the region and hosting the Fifth Fleet," he added.
He said that the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA) signed during the visit of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister shapes the way to the future for cooperation between both parties.
