Finance Minister meets Vice President, Investment Operations II - East & Central Asia, EMEA & Americas at Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank

Manama, Nov. 21 (BNA): Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa today received Konstantin Limitovskiy Vice President, Investment Operations II - East & Central Asia, EMEA & Americas at Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. Shaikh Salman stressed the important role played by financial institutions in supporting development projects and promoting investment in various vital sectors, which contribute to supporting economic development. 

The minister praised the bank's efforts in developing financing plans and solutions for infrastructure projects, and contributing to joint investments among member states to achieve the goals of sustainable development, in addition to the role played by the bank in enhancing Asian cooperation with bilateral and multilateral international organizations. 

He highlighted the Kingdom of Bahrain's keenness to enhance joint cooperation and exchange expertise and best practices with the bank in order to achieve goals.
