Oil Minister receives Indian oil officials

Manama, Nov. 22 (BNA): Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, received a delegation from Numaligarh , a subsidiary of Indian Petroleum Corporation, led by Shri Sanjay Choudhuri, the Director of Finance.
Vinod Kurian Jacob, Indian Ambassador to Bahrain, was present.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation in various oil projects.
The minister commended the expertise and achievements of Indian petroleum companies in excavation, extraction, production and refinery operations.
Choudhuri highlighted important programmes and activities across all sectors, including strategic initiatives supporting renewable energy, and how it can benefit the production of low-carbon, environmentally friendly energy that contributes to the preservation of the environment.
The ambassador thanked the minister for addressing topics of common interest to promote investment cooperation, commending Bahrain’s development in the oil and environment sectors.
