Shinhan Company wills to invest in oil, gas in Yemen

SANA'A, June 22 (Saba) - The Co-Chief Executive Officer of the
Korean Shinhan Engineering and Construction Company expressed on
Monday the company's willingness to invest in oil and gas domains in
the country.

Minister of Oil and Minerals Amir al-Aydarus reviewed with the
Korean officer the investment opportunities in such fields and the
facilities provided to the investment companies.

The Korean Officer made clear that the company has investment plans
in oil and gas fields, noting that the company is capable to
implement huge investment projects.

The Korean Shinhan Engineering and Construction Company is one of
the leading companies in engineering and construction fields, he
said.

The Minister hailed the Korean company's desire to invest in Yemen,
adding that Yemen possesses great opportunities in the oil
investment, as only 20 percent of the Yemeni oil map has been
utilized.

The Ministry will provide all the facilities needed for the company
as well as the other companies wishing to invest in Yemen in such
areas.
