EAA Leads Panels on Innovative Education in WISE Summit 2023

Doha, November 28 (QNA) - Education Above All (EAA), one of the largest global institutions in the field of development and education, participated in the 2023 edition of the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), which is being held at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) under the theme slogan "Creative Fluency: Human Flourishing in the Age of AI."
    As an integral part of the WISE Conference, EAA Foundation organizes 16 panel discussions, roundtables and plenary sessions to examine the transformative impact of education. These panels include variety of topics such as AI innovations and application in higher education, milestone achievements, greening education, youth economic empowerment, fiscal sustainability, education in emergencies, and the current Gaza crisis.
    HH Chairperson of Education Above All (EAA) Sheikha Moza bint Nasser will participate in the Foundation’s general session titled "Education in Times of War," which will raise global awareness about the Gaza Strip crisis.
    The session will focus on educational recovery, coping with trauma, psychosocial emotional learning, and the profound impact of AI on education and human rights advocacy.
    The 10th anniversary of the EAA's "Educate a Child" program will be celebrated during the WISE 2023 summit, under the theme "Re-Ignite Action to Transform the Lives of Those Left Behind" by highlighting the program’s achievements in reaching millions of out-of-school children (OOSC) over 10 years, the positive impact of EAC's focus on enrolling primary-level OOSC and motivate further commitment to this cause, and emphasizing the need for ongoing efforts in developing new solutions for access to primary education.
    Led by the Education Above All Foundation’s Innovation Development Department, the AI in Education program is a dynamic exploration of institutions pioneering the use of AI in education.
    In addition, the Foundation's Reach Out To Asia Panel session (ROTA) program will host an intergenerational dialogue discussing the critical elements required for the transition towards "green" education in response to the global climate crisis. It will address how to enhance learners' comprehensive competencies in confronting environmental challenges.
    The "Artificial Intelligence and Access to Higher Education" session, led by the Al Fakhoora program, will address the pivotal role of AI in providing comprehensive and equitable access to higher education for marginalized communities.
    On the other hand, EAA Foundation showcases a huge structure of Beit Al Fakhoora, which is a copy of Beit Al Fakhoora in the Gaza Strip that  was bombed last month. Through interactive videos, the Foundation will highlight its unwavering commitment to a future in which education overcomes difficulties.
    The Foundation honors its influential projects in Colombia through the Colombian Gift Shop, as this space reflects a tribute to the traditional Wayuu village schools in Colombia. It embodies the cultural essence of the communities affected by the innovative work carried out by the EAA Foundation in Cartagena. (QNA)
