HM King, UAE President, Mauritanian President attend 'Union March' in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, Dec. 3 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, Mauritanian President, shaikhs and UAE guests today took part in the "Union March", held at the Al-Wathba region within of the annual Shaikh Zayed Festival, as part of the UAE 52ns National Day.

The march, which was organised by the Presidential Office, with the participation of tribesmen from all regions of the UAE, was also attended by their Highnesses the Shaikhs and senior officials.

President HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed exchanged greetings with the tribesmen participating in the march as they bypassed the podium, expressing his pride in the UAE people who were performing these authentic national heritage songs, and expressing their feelings of pride, belonging and patriotic spirit towards their motherland.

Tribesmen from various UAE emirates and regions participated in the Union March, expressing their happiness and joy over the 52nd National Day, as well as their pride in the leadership of HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and members of the Supreme Federal Council.

The event featured a lineup of folk and patriotic songs reflecting the participants' patriotism and loyalty to the UAE leadership.  

The "Union March" is one the main events of the Shaikh Zayed Festival, held annually during the UAE's celebration of its National Day.

The tribesmen hoisted national flags and chanted patriotic songs, reflecting their joy and pride in belonging to the UAE.

The event also featured a horse show, in which jockeys showcased their distinguished skills.
