Finance Minister meets Arab Fund Director General

Dubai, Dec. 4 (BNA): Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Finance and National Economy Minister, met Dr. Fahd bin Mohammed Al Turki, the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Fund, on the sidelines of the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
The Arab Monetary Fund plays a crucial role in providing credit facilities and financial frameworks for development plans in Arab countries, as well as proposing and adopting financial policies that promote economic stability and development for all, Shaikh Salman said.
He highlighted keenness on Bahrain's interest in continually developing cooperation and coordination with various financial institutions.
The meeting discussed cooperation between Bahrain and the Arab Fund, in addition to topics of common interest in economic and financial sectors.
