HM King thanks UAE President; praises COP 28 success

Manama, Dec. 5 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today sent a cable of thanks to His Highness Shaikh Mohmmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, as he departed the UAE following His Majesty's participation in the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) held in Dubai.

HM the King expressed profound thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed on the successful hosting of the Global Climate Action Summit, held on the sidelines of COP28.

HM King Hamad affirmed the solid deep-rooted Bahrain-UAE relations, commending the accomplishments of COP28, iming to promote sustainable development and reduce carbon emissions.

HM the King expressed his appreciation towards UAE’s efforts in developing relations with international institutions in various sectors.

 HM King Hamad wished President HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed abundant health and happiness, in addition to further progress and prosperity to the UAE and its people.
