Speaker and Shura Chairman meet Qatari Speaker

Dubai, Dec. 5 (BNA): Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, and Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura, met with Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, Speaker of the Shura Council in the State of Qatar, ahead of the Parliamentary Meeting held tomorrow as part of the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).

They affirmed the deep-rooted Bahrain-Qatar relations, affirming joint efforts to promote cooperation in various sectors.

They also underlined the mutual keenness to promote joint GCC action to meet the aspirations of the people of the member states, and to address climate change challenges and strengthen climate security based on a comprehensive GCC development vision.
