Bahraini-Moroccan Joint Consular Committee holds first meeting

Rabat, Dec. 7 (BNA): The Bahraini-Moroccan Joint Consular Committee, established during the fifth session of the Bahrain-Morocco Joint High Committee, held in Manama in January 2023, convened its first meeting here today.

Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Ali Bahzad, Consular and Administrative Affairs at the Foreign Affairs Ministry, and Ambassador Fouad Kadmiri, Director of Consular and Social Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Abroad, co-chaired the meeting.

Dr. Mohammed Ali Bahzad affirmed the depth of the fraternal Bahraini-Moroccan relations, praising the remarkable steady progress of bilateral ties at all levels.

He stressed the importance of continuing joint coordination in the consular fields to achieve common goals, stressing the need to build capacities and exchange expertise in the field of crisis management, which will consolidate bilateral cooperation and achieve common goals.

The two sides discussed important issues related to the consular field. They also examined a number of topics on the meeting agenda within the scope of the committee’s work.
