HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad attends BRAVE CF 79

Manama, Dec. 8 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, today attended the BRAVE International Combat Week (BICW).

Held under HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad’s patronage at the Khalifa Sports City arena, the event is organised by BRAVE Combat Federation, in partnership with the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF).

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad watched the competitions of BRAVE CF 79, the second main event of the BICW.

16 competitors participated in BRAVE CF 79, including Bahraini fighters Rasul Magomedov and Ramazan Gitinov.

Commenting, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad expressed pride in holding BICW in the kingdom, featuring three major BRAVE CF professional events, namely BRAVE CF 77, 79 and 80, in addition to IMMAF Asian Championships.

HH Shaikh Khalid affirmed that the kingdom’s hosting of BICW has consolidated its status as a major destination for mixed martial arts in the region, following its previous successes in this regard.

His Highness added that Bahrain welcomes all participating delegations, and is proud of hosting the new BICW edition.
