Education Minister meets UAE counterpart

Dubai, Dec. 9 (BNA): Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, met his UAE counterpart, Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, on the sidelines of the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), hosted by Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.

Dr. Juma commended the efforts of the UAE Ministry of Education to organise education events during COP28, citing the opening of the “Greening Education Hub”, and holding the “Education Ministerial Meeting”, in partnership with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), providing a platform for education at the COP for the first time.

The two ministers discussed ways to bolster cooperation and coordination between the two countries’ education sectors.

They also reviewed the outcomes of joint projects.
