Information Minister meets "Media Talents Award 2023" participants

Manama, Dec. 10 (BNA): Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, the Minister of Information, met with the finalists in the "Media Talents Award 2023" training programme, held in collaboration with the Labour Fund "Tamkeen".  

The minister emphasised the importance of developing media talents for the sustainability of the progress of the media sector, noting that investing in young talents' enriches media content with innovation and creativity.

Dr. Ramzan expressed gratitude for the Tamkeen, led by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, for supporting young, promising media talents.

The minister praised the efforts of the programme participants and their ideas, and wished them success.

The award aims to discover and encourage talents in the fields of television presentation and production, and offers them intensive training that prepares them for opportunities in the local and regional media sector.

This year's award focuses on presenting and preparing radio and television programmes, with two competitions in Arabic and English.

The jury selected 30 finalists after an eight week intensive training programme. The winners will announced after the final project submission later this month.
