DPRK Public Health Improved
Pyongyang, December 18 (KCNA) -- The public health sector of the DPRK strives to put medical service on a scientific and IT basis at high level.
The Ministry of Public Health and relevant regions remodeled preventive and curative institutions as befits medical service bases and enhanced the IT level of medical service.
The ministry pushed ahead with upgrading the first-aid command system Kugup 1.0 while pooling creative wisdom with researchers of relevant fields to solve the problems arising in introducing the system in every province.
Thus, a guarantee was provided for every provincial, city and county hospital and other lowest curative and preventive institutions to improve first aid under the guidance of provincial first-aid commanding centers.
The ministry selected the Hyesan Polyclinic in Hyesan City of Ryanggang Province and other scores of clinics and hundreds of hospitals in ris before applying the information system for health care of residents to them.
Besides, the ministry conducted the work for applying the intelligent medical care system to the Pyongyang Municipal General Hospital No.2 and Moranbong District Hospital and confirming its efficiency, and laid foundations for generalizing the experience to the whole country. -0-
