Bin Hathleen Thanks Leadership for Calling 2024 the 'Year of Camels'

Al-Sayahid, December 19, 2023, SPA -- The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Camel Club, founder and president of the International Camel Organization, Fahd bin Falah bin Hathleen, thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Supervisor General of the Camel Club, for the Cabinet's approval to call 2024 as the "Year of Camels".
Bin Hathleen said that the Cabinet's decision to designate 2024 as the "Year of Camels" reflects the state's and its leaders' interest in camels. "This move will help bring attention to the camel's rich history and fulfil the goals of the wise leadership, which align with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to promote the camel industry," he said.
The camel industry, he said, has grown into a significant cultural and economic force in our nation's past and present, and this generous approval will have many developmental elements in its march.
Bin Hathleen lauded HRH the Crown Prince's keenness to maintain the kingdom's real history and support the camel people to stay true to their cultural roots.
