Riyadh, December 21, 2023, SPA -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi stressed that the success of the State of Qatar in mediating between the United States of America and the Republic of Venezuela confirms the great and prominent role of its diplomacy and the confidence of the international community in it.
The GCC Secretary General stressed that the success of the State of Qatar in facilitating the prisoner exchange process between the United States and Venezuela is considered a diplomatic achievement that reflects the position of the State of Qatar as a reliable partner at the regional and international levels, and emphasizes its constructive and pioneering role in promoting security and peace in the region and the world.
