KSrelief Distributes Food Baskets in Socotra, Yemen

Socotra, Yemen, December 23, 2023, SPA -- As part of its yearly food security project, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) yesterday distributed food baskets to needy families in Hadiboh, Socotra Island.
Director of Civil-Military Operations of the Joint Forces Major General Abdullah bin Dakhil Al-Hababi, and Director of the Emergency Relief Department at KSRelief Fahad Al-Osaimi were present at the distribution process.
This pioneering humanitarian program takes place every two months and is part of a series of scheduled programs carried out by the center to support the residents of Socotra.
The locals expressed appreciation for this generous initiative, which contributes to improving their livelihoods and to enhancing food security in the region.
The event reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's unwavering humanitarian efforts to support and assist those in need in various regions. This support does not only provide basic needs, it also helps enhance stability and achieve sustainable development on remote islands.
