Saudi Arabia’s Delegation Takes Part in 22nd Session of Arab Human Rights Charter Committee in Cairo

Cairo, December 25, 2023, SPA -- President of the Human Rights Commission (HRC), Dr. Hala bint Mzayad Al-Tuwaijri, led the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s delegation participating in the 22nd session of the Arab Human Rights Charter Committee of the Arab League.
The aim of this session, being held at the headquarters of the Arab League's General Secretariat in Cairo from 25 to 26 December, is to discuss the first periodic report submitted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Al-Tuwaijri said in her opening speech during the session that the auspicious era under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister witnessed major and historic reforms in various fields, including the field of human rights.
