Saudi-Omani Partnership Activation Committee Discusses Joint Tourism Programs

Riyadh, December 26, 2023, SPA -- The Committee for Activating the Saudi-Omani Partnership in the Field of Tourism has discussed strengthening this strategic partnership through initiatives aimed at developing joint tourism programs to attract more international tourists to the region.
In a virtual meeting yesterday, chaired by Saudi Deputy Minister of Tourism for International Affairs Sultan Al Musallam and attended by Omani Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism Azzan Al-Busaidi and several other senior officials from both sides, the committee also discussed increasing the number of seasonal flights between the two countries, in line with the Gulf Tourism Strategy.
It expressed keenness to enhance cooperation in tourism between Saudi Arabia and Oman, and exerting efforts to achieve sustainable tourism development and promote tourism in the region.
