Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Discusses Developing Cooperation with Tunisian Prime Minister

Tunis, December 27, 2023, SPA -- The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, has met with the Tunisian Prime Minister, Ahmed Hachani, at the government palace in the capital, Tunis.
The meeting took place during his official visit to the Republic of Tunisia, while heading the Kingdom’s delegation in the meetings of the 11th session of the Saudi-Tunisian Joint Committee, and to participate in the Saudi-Tunisian Investment and Partnership Forum.
The meeting, which was attended by the Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Saqr, reviewed the strong relations between the two countries and the qualitative leap they have achieved in various economic, political, security and cultural fields in recent years, following the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Tunisia in March 2019, and the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to Tunisia in November 2018.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed enhancing cooperation between the two countries many in vital sectors such as industry, tourism, investment, along with the investment advantages that stimulate investors in the two countries.
The visit of the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources to the Republic of Tunisia aims to deep the strategic partnership between the two countries, activating mechanisms of joint cooperation between them, and enhancing investment opportunities.
