HM King congratulates President El Sisi on success of presidential elections

Manama, Dec. 14 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held a telephone call with Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

His Majesty congratulated the Egyptian president on the success of the presidential elections in Egypt and the turnout they had received, wishing Egypt and its people further progress and prosperity.

On his part, President El Sisi congratulated the Kingdom of Bahrain on its National Days celebration, wishing it further progress and prosperity under the leadership of His Majesty the King.

His Majesty expressed his pride in the historic bilateral relations and the ongoing multidisciplinary cooperation between Bahrain and Egypt.

The call discussed the situation in the Gaza Strip and the ongoing efforts to achieve a ceasefire and ensure access of humanitarian aid.
