KSrelief Concludes Noor Volunteer Program to Combat Blindness in Somalia

Mogadishu, December 30, 2023, SPA --The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded on Friday the Noor Saudi Arabia Volunteer Program aimed at combating blindness and its underlying causes in Garoowe, Puntland State, Federal Republic of Somalia, in collaboration with the World Sight Foundation.
Throughout the campaign, the center's volunteer medical team examined 3,645 individuals, provided 965 eyeglasses, and conducted 397 specialized surgeries.
This effort extends the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's voluntary medical initiatives in addressing blindness and related issues, overseen by KSrelief, to support individuals afflicted with eye diseases in needy countries.
