Supported by KSrelief, Prosthetics Limbs Center in Hadhramaut Provides Medical Services to 308 Beneficiaries in November

Hadhramaut, December 31, 2023, SPA -- The Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center, located in the Seiyun district of Hadramout governorate, has been providing various medical services to 376 beneficiaries from the Yemeni people who have lost limbs during November 2023. This project has been supported by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
Throughout the project, a total of 1,816 services were provided. Among the beneficiaries, 62% were males and 38% were females, while displaced individuals made up 19% and residents accounted for 81%.
The center measured, manufactured, fitted, delivered, and maintained artificial limbs and prosthetics for 70 patients. Additionally, 306 patients benefited from physiotherapy services, which included physiotherapy sessions and specialized consultations.
This humanitarian service is an extension of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's continuous efforts, represented by KSrelief, to enhance the capabilities of the health sector and alleviate the suffering of the people in Yemen.
