Electricity Output Goes Up

Pyongyang, January 7 (KCNA) -- The Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station in the DPRK has made innovation in the electricity production from the outset of the year.

Workers and technicians at the Power Station No. 1 introduced various technical innovations for raising the efficiency of generating equipment and launched a dynamic socialist emulation among shifts to over-fulfill their daily production plan.

Workers of the Power Station No. 2 have increased the electricity production per ton of water while meticulously maintaining the hydraulic structures in keeping with the winter conditions.

The Power Station No. 3 is putting the production of electricity on a stable basis by applying the scientific water control method to ensure high-level and high-efficiency operation and working out a detailed plan for checking up and repairing equipment. -0-
