Saudi Arabia’s Relief Aid to Palestinians in Gaza Warmly Appreciated

Gaza, January 11, 2024, SPA -- Several Palestinian individuals in the Gaza Strip have expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for providing them with urgent relief aid to alleviate the suffering caused by the ongoing humanitarian crisis they are facing.
A Palestinian woman, whose family has benefited from aid received from Saudi Arabia, expressed gratitude to the Kingdom and its people for their generosity. The aid, which included tents, shelter materials, medical supplies, and food baskets, has helped cover the basic needs of her family.
Another individual, who has endured hardships due to the destruction of homes and lands caused by Israeli bombings, said that the aid provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has significantly alleviated their suffering.
A displaced woman living in one of the camps in Gaza praised the comprehensive and high-quality food baskets provided by the KSrelief.
Additionally, one Gaza resident mentioned that he had solely received aid from Saudi Arabia.
KSrelief has opened air and sea bridges to deliver relief aid to Gaza and address the needs of the Palestinian people. To date, the center has dispatched 5,112 tons of aid through these routes, along with 20 ambulances.
The air bridge has utilized 38 relief planes carrying food baskets, relief bags, and medical supplies. Meanwhile, five ships loaded with medical supplies, food, and relief materials have been sent to help people in the enclave and support the needs of hospitals.
Furthermore, the Saudi national campaign to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip has successfully secured donations exceeding 500 million Saudi Riyals.
The disbursed aid is part of the Kingdom’s humanitarian and relief projects, facilitated by its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, with the aim of providing assistance to the Palestinians in Gaza. This support underscores Saudi Arabia’s historical role in extending a helping hand to the Palestinians during the times of crises and adversities.
