Al-Maqraa: Global Initiative for Learning Quran

Makkah, January 14, 2024, SPA -- The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has introduced its first-ever online service for Muslims around the world, where they can benefit from reciting and learning the Quran under the proper guidance of qualified teachers. Al-Maqraa utilizes cutting-edge technology, allowing learners to correct their recitation, master Tajweed, complete memorization, and engage in post-memorization review in six languages (Arabic, English, Urdu, Indonesian, Malay, and Hausa). Participants can obtain licenses with continuous Sanad (chain of narration) from certified teachers in the ten well-known Quranic readings.
Al-Maqraa provides recitation correction, memorization, review, Tajweed rules, principles of readings, recitation sessions, educational follow-ups, and live broadcast sessions.
