BAKU HOSTS AZERBAIJAN-CHINA BUSINESS FORUM
Baku, June 24 (AzerTAc). Nearly 50 business people from Azerbaijan and Chine have come together here to explore prospects for boosting cooperation in various fields of economy.
The business forum was co-organized by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs (ACE).
Speaking at the event, ACE Acting President Etibar Aliyev highlighted Azerbaijan`s economic achievements.
On trade cooperation between the two countries, he said “last year trade between Azerbaijan and China tripled to $977 million”.
“We have a number of documents that lay legal foundations for expanding the relations between our business circles,” said Aliyev.
Quan Zhezhu, Vice-President of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, praised Azerbaijan`s economic progress.
He said both countries have potential to increase their trade even more.
Zhezhu also highlighted investment opportunities in China.
