AZERBAIJAN IS KEY ALLY OF UNITED STATES IN SPHERE OF SECURITY

Baku, 24 June (AzerTAc). “During the meetings with Azerbaijan authorities, we have discussed several matters of common interest. I am responsible for the United States’ liability for security with respect to its partners including Azerbaijan”, US Major General Tracy Garrett, Commander, U.S. Marine Forces Europe and Africa, told members of the Women’s Bar Association in Azerbaijan. According to Ms. Garrett, debates revolved around the issues of security and mutual support.
Touching upon the fight against terrorism, Ms. Garrett said terrorism is a very complex problem and every country should combat this evil by all means.
