Electricity Output Increases at Hydro-power Stations

Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) -- Power producers in Kangwon Province of the DPRK boost the production through an intensive campaign for collective innovation.

Workers and technicians of the Wonsan Army-People Power Station have increased the production of electricity by applying advanced measuring device to control the amount of water in a rational way suited to the characteristics of the cascaded power station and ensuring the equipment management and technical control in a scientific way.

The Wonsan Youth Power Station has directed primary efforts to the management of water and hydro-power structures while inspecting and repairing generating equipment properly to raise the power output of every generator.

The Anbyon Youth Power Station No. 2 boosts the production of electricity while ensuring the rational distribution of loads according to water quantity.

Workers of the Sepho Army-People Power Station and the Phyonggang Army-People Power Station have increased the efficiency of water wheel of generators and introduced technical innovation proposals to produce much more electricity.

The Kosan Army-People Power Station No. 2, the Ichon Army-People Power Station and the Munchon Army-People Power Station have introduced advanced operating methods and conducted maintenance of equipment regularly as required by technical regulations. -0-
