Bahrain Ambassador to US chairs Arab League Council of Ambassadors meeting

Washington, Jan. 29 (BNA): Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Bahrain to US, chaired the meeting of the Council of Arab Ambassadors of the League of Arab States.

Heads and members of the Arab missions in Washington participated in the meeting.

Abdulkhaleq bin Rashid bin Rafa, Head of the Arab League Mission in Washington, attended the meeting.

The meeting called for the resolutions of the League of Arab States calling for a ceasefire and allowing humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip, and rejecting any attempts aimed at displacing Palestinians.

The meeting also highlighted the need to end the suffering of Palestinian refugees and protect their rights.

Bahrain will host the 33rd Arab Summit in May.
