Bahrain, UK discuss cooperation in youth sector

London, Jan. 31 (BNA): Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, met with Stuart James Andrew, Undersecretary of State for Sport, Tourism, Heritage and Civil Society of the UK.

The meeting reviewed cooperation and coordination in the youth sector by implementing joint youth programmes.  

They also discussed a draft memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the youth sector and highlighted its importance in further developing cooperation.

Tawfiqi praised Bahrain-UK relations on various levels, especially in the youth sector, affirming the importance of launching youth projects and programmes to bolster partnerships.

The Undersecretary affirmed his keenness in boosting relations in the youth sector.
