Sustainable Development Minister meets European Commission Vice-President

Brussels, Jan. 31 (BNA): Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development, met with Margaritis Schinas, Vice-President of the European Commission, on the sidelines of her participation in the Global Gateway Investors Forum for EU-Central Asia Transport Connectivity.

Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabr Al Dosari, Bahraini Ambassador to Belgium, attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the European Commission’s efforts in developing policies, plans, and strategies at the regional level that contribute to achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in line with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The minister affirmed Bahrain’s sustainable achievements, affirming the kingdom’s commitment to implementing its national and development priorities as well as its obligations under the 2030 Agenda.
