Youth Ministry, UK Prince’s Trust International discuss cooperation

London, Fab. 1 (BNA): Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, met with Shabir Randeree, Chairman of the Prince’s Trust International Board in Britain, on the sidelines of her official visit to the UK.
The minister affirmed Bahrain’s great interest in the youth, as it is keen on providing training opportunities and raising the level of skills and expertise by creating initiatives with various international bodies that support youth.
She added that the ministry’s international partnerships provided training opportunities for Bahraini youth.
Tawfiqi said that the ministry launched a national strategy that prioritises and identifies the needs of young people and ways to involve them in the decision-making process.
She noted the importance of providing more training opportunities for the youth and focusing on their future skills.
She hailed the role of King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, in supporting the youth worldwide, affirming the ministry’s aspiration to further cooperate with the fund through joint programmes.
Randeree affirmed the fund’s interest to partner up with the ministry, hailing Bahrain’s experience, which provides unique programmes for its youth in various fields.
