Yemeni-Saudi ministerial meeting held in Jeddah



JEDDAH, June 24 (Saba)- A Yemeni- Saudi Ministerial meeting was held
on Wednesday in Jeddah, headed by Yemeni and Saudi Industry and
Trade Ministers Yhaya al-Mutawakel and Abdullah bin Ahmed Redha.

The meeting discussed means to enhance and develop the economic and
commercial cooperation fields between the two countries.

The meeting reviewed outcomes of the meetings of Yemeni-Saudi Joint
Committee and the Yemeni-Saudi Businessmen Executive Council which
were held lately in Sana'a.

The meeting dealt with a number of issues, topped by facilitating
the entrance of goods to the two countries and the means to support
Yemen's request to join WHO.

The two sides talked on the relations between Yemen and KSA in the
commercial and economic fields, particularity which concern with
Saudi King's orders on opening the Gulf markets to the Yemeni
laborers.

They also reviewed the Saudi steps to prepare many technical
institutes in Yemen in accordance with agreements singed between the
two countries and results of the meeting which was held between
leaderships of both countries lately in Saudi Arabia.
