Yemeni-Saudi businessmen held 2nd meeting in Jeddah
JEDDAH, June 24 (Saba) - The Yemeni-Saudi businessmen held in Jeddah
on Wednesday the second meeting, headed by chairman of the Yemeni
Union of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mohammed Abdu saeeid and
deputy chairman of the Chamber of Commerce In Jeddah Abdullah Marei
Bin Mahfodh.
The meeting dealt with mechanisms of absorbing Yemeni skilled
workers in the labor markets of the GCC to implement directives of
Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and
the results of President Ali Abdullah Saleh visit to the KSA
recently that aimed to activate economic and trade cooperation.
During the meeting, they discussed Saudi investments in Yemen and
effective efforts to overcome obstacles to provide facilities for
greater flows of investment to strengthen relationship between the
two countries in various fields.
The talks addressed the importance of organizing trade exhibition
between both countries to identify commodity trade and economic
activities to enhance the volume of exchanging bilateral trade.
The meeting will also discuss the current preparation for the
operation of the border trade areas between the two countries.
