HM King congratulates King of Malaysia on accession to the throne

Manama, Feb. 3 (BNA): A telephone call was held today between His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Sultan Iskandar of Malaysia.

HM King Hamad congratulated HM Sultan Ibrahim on being chosen as King of Malaysia, wishing him every success in carrying out his duties to bring about more progress and prosperity to Malaysia and its people.

HM the King lauded the long-standing solid Bahraini-Malaysian relations, which are growing steadily in all fields for the common interests of the two countries.

HM Sultan Ibrahim ibni Sultan Iskandar expressed thanks and appreciation to HM King Hamad for congratulating him, and for his noble sentiments that reflect the depth of the Bahraini-Malaysian ties.

He wished the people of Bahrain further progress and prosperity, under HM the King’s leadership.
