Shura Chairman expresses pride in Bahrain's honourable humanitarian record

Manama, Feb. 3 (BNA): Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Shura Council Chairman, has stated that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s support for initiatives and programmes that consolidate human fraternity and religious coexistence is essential for highlighting the kingdom’s status and remarkable role in promoting global peace and fraternity among all peoples.

Al Saleh also expressed pride in the kingdom’s honourable humanitarian record, in addition to its continuous efforts to consolidate rapprochement and advocate dialogue.

He affirmed that Bahrain is a global model for tolerance and human coexistence, attributing the kingdom’s achievements in the field of humanitarian work to HM the King’s sound directives and visions.

In a statement marking the International Day of Human Fraternity, observed globally every February 4, the Shura Chairman stressed that the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, exerts remarkable efforts to consolidate human principles and values, by developing programmes that promote human fraternity and consolidate the national fundamentals, based on respect, affinity and fraternity among all.

The Shura Chairman indicated that Bahrain boasts a unique rich history in promoting human fraternity and supporting creative initiatives aimed at instilling moral values and human principles.

Al Saleh expressed pride in the united and cohesive Bahraini society, whose members are known for their love for others, support for humanitarian work and belief in human solidarity and fraternity.
