HM King congratulates HH Amir of Qatar on Asian Cup

Manama, Feb. 10 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today sent a cable of congratulations to His Highness Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, following the success of the Qatar National Football Team in winning the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.

HM the King congratulated HH Shaikh Tamim on the Asian sports achievement, lauding the distinguished performance of the Qatari squad throughout the tournament, enabling them to earn Qatar the second Asian title in their history.

HM King Hamad praised Qatar’s distinguished organisation of the top Asian football tournament, which ensured its success.

HM the King lauded the solid fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples, wishing HH Shaikh Tamim abundant health and happiness, as well as further progress and prosperity to the Qatari people.
