His Majesty King receives written letter from Gambian President

Manama, Feb. 11 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, received a written message from His Excellency Adama Barrow, the President of the Republic of The Gambia.

The letter focused on the Bahraini-Gambian relations and cooperation between the two countries and the means to support and develop them in various domains.

Dr. Mamadou Tangara, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Gambians Abroad delivered the letter to His Majesty, at Al Safriya Palace today.

The minister relayed to HM the King greetings of the Gambian President as well as wishes of further progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people.

HM the King requested the minister to convey his greetings to President Barrow as well as wishes for further progress and prosperity to Gambia.

His Majesty welcomed the minister and reviewed the Bahraini-Gambian ties and opportunities for cooperation, particularly in the economic, investment, and commercial sectors.

His Majesty affirmed that Bahrain is keen to further enhance bilateral ties with Gambia in various domains.

The meeting reviewed topics of common interests.

The minister expressed thanks to HM the King for the reception and interest in strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

He emphasised Gambia's keenness to improve cooperation in various fields with the kingdom.
