HM King receives Speaker, Shura Chairman, SJC Vice President and Court of Cassation President

Manama, Feb. 14 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives; Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, the Shura Council Chairman; Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) and President of the Court of Cassation. 

The audience at Al Safriya Palace was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

His Majesty and the Speaker, Shura Chairman, and Vice President exchanged congratulations on the 23rd anniversary of the endorsement of the National Action Charter (NAC).    

They hailed the wise leadership and approach of His Majesty the King and lauded the wide ranging achievements during the reign of His Majesty.

His Majesty the King commended the legislative authority's achievements in developing laws that serve citizens' needs and contribute to the development process. 

HM the King also highlighted the role of the judicial authority in consolidating the principles of justice, equality, and upholding rights and freedoms. 

HM King commended the collaboration and synergy between the executive and legislative authorities aimed at continuing to deliver more achievements for the kingdom and its people.

His Majesty affirmed that the National Action Charter served as a foundation for the kingdom’s progress towards strengthening all facets of democracy and development. 

HM the King highlighted the kingdom's accomplishments throughout its history, that were driven by its people’s cohesion and cooperation. 

His Majesty affirmed that efforts will continue steadily to attain more progress and to build a prosperous future for Bahrain, expressing thanks and appreciation for the sincere work to achieve this goal.
